YouTube

For integration and display of video content, our website uses plugins from YouTube. Provider of the video portal is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA.

When a page with integrated YouTube plugin is called up, a connection to the YouTube servers is established. This tells YouTube which of our pages you have visited.

YouTube can assign your surfing behavior directly to your personal profile, if you are logged in to your YouTube account. By logging out you have the possibility to prevent this.

YouTube is used in the interest of an attractive presentation of our online offers. This represents a legitimate interest in the sense of Art. 6 paragraph 1 lit. f GDPR.

Details on the handling of user data can be found in the YouTube privacy policy at: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies. They are small text files which are stored on the device with which you access this website. Cookies help us make our website more user-friendly, effective and safe.

Most of the cookies we use are “session cookies”. They are automatically deleted after your browser session ends. However, other cookies remain on your device until you delete them yourself. These cookies enable us to recognize your browser on your next visit.

You can monitor, delete or prevent cookies via your internet browser settings. Many internet browsers can be configured so that cookies are deleted automatically when you close the program. Disabling cookies may limit the functionality of this website.

Cookies that are required to carry out the electronic communication process or to provide certain functions that you have requested (e.g. shopping basket function) are stored on the basis of Art. 6(1)f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the storage of cookies for the technically flawless and optimized provision of its services. If other cookies are set (e.g. for analysis functions), these are dealt with separately in this Privacy Policy

Google Analytics

Our website uses functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics. The provider of the web analytics service is Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

Google Analytics uses so-called cookies, text files, which are stored on your computer and make it possible to analyze your use of the website. As a rule, the information generated by the cookie about your use of this website (including your IP address), is transferred to a Google server in the US and stored there.
The setting of Google Analytics cookies is based on Art. 6(1)f GDPR. Our justified interest in the use of this service derives from the fact that we must be able to analyze and optimize the use of our website

IP anonymization

We use Google Analytics in conjunction with the IP anonymization function. It ensures that Google shortens the IP address for those residing within member states of the European Union or in other states party to the European Economic Area before sending it to the USA. The full IP address will only be transferred to a Google server in the US and shortened there in exceptional cases. Google uses this information on behalf of the website owner in order to evaluate your website use, to compile reports about website activities and to provide the website owner with other services associated with the website and internet use. The IP address transmitted by your browser in the context of Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data.

Browser Plugin

You can prevent the storage of cookies with the relevant setting on your browser software. We do, however, point out that in this case, you might not be able to use all functions of this website to the full extent. You can also prevent the collection of data as generated by the cookie, which refers to your website use including your IP address, is sent to and being processed by Google, by downloading and installing the appropriate browser add-on: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.

The right to object data collection

Alternatively, you can prevent the collection of data by Google Analytics by setting a specific opt-out cookie, which prevents the future collection of your data when visiting this website.

You can obtain further information in Google’s terms of use and the overview of data protection. For more information about Terms of Use and Privacy, please see
https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=de.

To fully comply with the legal data protection requirements, we have concluded a contract with Google for order processing.

Demographic data in Google Analytics

We have enabled the Google Analytics function “demographic data” on our website. It can be used to generate reports that contain information about age, gender and interests of visitors to the site. This data comes from interest-based advertising by Google as well as from visitor data from third parties. It is not possible to assign the data to a specific person. You can deactivate this function at any time. You can do this through the ad settings in your Google Account or by generally prohibiting the collection of your data by Google Analytics, as explained in the section “Opting out of data collection”.

Our website uses features of the XING network. The provider is XING AG, Dammtorstraße 29-32, 20354 Hamburg, Germany.

When a page with integrated Xing functions is called up, a connection to the Xing servers is established. To the best of our knowledge, no personal data is stored. IP addresses are not stored, nor is there any evaluation of user behavior.

Details on data protection and the XING Share button can be found in the XING privacy policy at: https://www.xing.com/app/share?op=data_protection.

Twitter plugin

Our website uses functions of the Twitter service. The provider is Twitter Inc, 1355 Market Street, Suite 900, San Francisco, CA 94103, USA.

When using Twitter and the “Re-Tweet” function, websites you visit are linked to your Twitter account and published in your Twitter feed. In the process, data is transferred to Twitter. We have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or the use of this data by Twitter. Details can be found in the Twitter privacy policy: https://twitter.com/privacy.

You can change your privacy settings on Twitter here: https://twitter.com/account/settings.
